Treadmill Running Assessment

Physiotherapist explaining the treadmill assessment to a patient.

With this assessment you will have your running assessed on a treadmill via slow motion video. This is a basic assessment, but a great place to start to show general running traits that we can work on to improve your running form. We can cue your running to address adverse loading on a current injury, prevent injury or increase efficiency and speed.

This assessment will also provide essential coaching for anyone who is starting out running and is just looking to ensure they’re running in a way that is less likely to cause them problems. It will also be insightful for more seasoned runners who are currently not injured to just see how they are running and if anything should be worked on. To book this please follow the booking link below to the Physio Effect Website and book a running assessment.

Appointment Length: 1 hour

Cost: £75

Please do not book this appointment on a Wednesday between 9am and 2pm as the treadmill cannot be accessed in our studio during these hours

What to Bring:

  • Your normal running shoes

  • A pair of running shorts/leggings.

  • If you use a running watch to collect running data, it would be helpful if you could familiarise yourself with your weekly mileage, running plan and cadence on easy paced runs. This is not absolutely necessary but will give us extra information that can be useful in the assessment and planning.
